They will assess your needs and offer you the appropriate treatment to help get you back on track.
This may include:
Self Help Guides
They produce self help guides that give information on the condition you are experiencing and helpful ways to manage it.
Their courses provide education on topics related to stress, anxiety and depression. They run for 6 to 8 weeks and cover practical techniques and tips to help you learn to manage your mood in a supportive and friendly environment.
They are are also pleased to be able to offer bespoke courses as part of our outreach programme. Please contact us for more details.
Guided Self Help
They also have manuals and a Books on Prescription Scheme, which describe in more detail how to improve your mood by using CBT. Whilst reading these books, a member of the Let’s Talk Team can offer you individual dedicated guidance and support, usually over the telephone.
Alternatively, They may suggest you come to see a therapist to talk in more depth about your individual circumstances and jointly develop a treatment plan to meet your needs. As with all our care, face-to-face therapy follows NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, www.nice.org.uk) guidance to provide the most appropriate intervention for your particular problems.
